The Law Offices of Tragos, Sartes & Tragos Speak to PTA of Clearwater High School
Some of the members of the Law Offices of Tragos, Sartes & Tragos received the opportunity to speak at Clearwater High School about the effect of various activities on children and young adults.
Attorney George Tragos, Attorney Peter Sartes, and Attorney Peter Tragos met before the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Clearwater High School to discuss matters related to the children who attend the school.
The topics that were discussed at the meeting were centered on how the law affects the high school students.
This included the liability that parents have over minors and vicarious liability in regard to the- BB guns
- House parties
- Car accidents
- Other activities
The attorneys also discussed the juvenile delinquency process in the event that the parents will run into a situation in which they require legal information. They recognize the need for quality legal guidance when parents are faced with a child who has had a run-in with the law.
When juveniles are arrested for violating a law, they will need all the information and guidance they can get. Th e process is different from that for criminally-charged adults.
During the meeting with the PTA of Clearwater High School, the attorneys helped them understand the process to give them confidence in the case that their child is faced with juvenile charges.
