How long does it take to settle a Florida auto accident case?

The length of a settlement in a case is everybody’s favorite question and it’s one that’s very difficult to answer. A lot of our cases settle between six and 18 months, but we have a lot of cases that settle much quicker than that. We have cases that only last two, three weeks in here. But then we also have some of the cases that go all the way through to trial and settle the day before trial, and those cases can last three or four years, so it’s really hard to say exactly, but the majority of them settle between six and 18 months of beginning of the case.
