The business owner can provide a reasonably safe environment by staying on top of things, making sure the lights are working outside, making sure their property is properly secured, making sure that they know what’s going on in the crime in their area and that they’re protecting the patrons that come on their land. They just have to be proactive in keeping in their property safe, in order to fulfill that requirement.
