Staying Safe Over The Winter Holidays
The holidays are the perfect time to get together with friends and family and celebrate. Plenty of parties and fun! This year, with Christmas and New Year’s falling on the weekend, it makes it even more dangerous to be on the road. Kids are out of school. People get a few days off from work. Family comes into town.
Due to the lack of responsibilities, people are more likely to engage in risky behaviors and experience problems on the road. Be aware of the risks of holiday travel to make your trip safer! No one should have to worry about this during such a joyful time.
Because of all the office parties, late night time with family, and consumption of alcohol during the holidays, the roads become more dangerous than they are on your average day. Drivers that are intoxicated, tired, or distracted can create a higher risk for motor vehicle accidents.
If you, or someone you know, is involved in a motor vehicle accident during the holidays, please don’t hesitate to call Tragos, Sartes & Tragos, so that we can have the pleasure of protecting your rights when you need it most.

While we cannot control the actions of others, we should practice self-control in our own lives. Do not get behind the wheel after an overindulgence at your office party or family event. You may not recognize that your low tolerance has caused a higher level of inebriation than you think!
If you do happen to have a lapse in judgement, the first thing you should do is contact a lawyer! When push comes to shove, you want us on your side!
